We are seeking a QA Engineer who can quickly integrate into our ongoing projects and make meaningful contributions. The ideal candidate shall be proficient in defining test strategies with a strong technical background, capable of efficiently managing daily tasks and challenges in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, designers, and testers, to deliver scalable, efficient, and robust testing strategies.

Participate in weekly scrums and team meetings, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices while promoting a culture of continuous learning.

Support the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices to enhance productivity and software quality.

Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring they are completed successfully and within deadlines.

Plan, design, develop, automate and execute test cases for Java-based platforms, both manual and automatic.

Create/integrate tools to help with the testing.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a QA position (manual and automated testing)
- Proficiency working in Linux environments, including command-line systems.
- Strong experience in testing data collection, data analysis, and data reporting in lab/production environments

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell scripting, Python)

Experience with version control systems (e.g. GIT)

Knowledge of database languages (e.g. SQL, MongoDB)

Basic understanding of telecommunications/networking in general

Good self-management capabilities to keep track of different tasks

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment

Proficient in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work in hybrid in Madrid.

Nice to have:
- Experience in containerized environments
- Experience in API Test Automation using tools (e.g. Robot, Junit, Rest Assured, Postman)
- Experience with Automation Framework (e.g. Robot Framework, Selenium)
- Proficiency in using task tracking, project management tools and qa management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Testrail, Xray)
- In-depth understanding of Wifi, PON, DSL and telecommunications/networking
