We are seeking a highly motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our global Quality Engineering organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, scalability, and performance of our networking products and cloud-managed solutions through advanced test automation, system validation, and AI-assisted quality engineering practices.

The successful candidate will design and develop automation frameworks, create automated test suites, and validate end-to-end networking features across embedded software, cloud services, APIs, and network infrastructure components. The candidate is expected to leverage modern AI-powered development and automation tools to improve engineering productivity, testing efficiency, and product quality.

This role requires strong software automation skills (Python and robot framework), networking expertise (experience testing routers/router-wifi, Wi-Fi systems), system-level troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to drive continuous quality improvements across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities: 

Test Automation & Quality Engineering

• Design automation framework, develop automation library, test scripts, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test suites for network devices, CPE platforms, and cloud-managed networking solutions.
• Develop automated test cases for networking features including WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, security, and cloud management capabilities.
• Create automation solutions for API, backend services, CLI and device management interfaces.
• Create automation and validate deployment test, end-to-end workflows across devices, cloud services, and management platforms.
• Analyze requirements and identify areas suitable for automation to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, deployment, E2E and performance testing for networking products.
• Troubleshoot failures using logs, packet captures, telemetry, and network diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate closely with software, firmware, cloud, DevOps, and product engineering teams to ensure product quality.
• Participate in test planning, test strategy development, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution environments.
• Prepare test reports, automation metrics, and defect analysis documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to QA automation best practices

AI-Driven Quality Engineering

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate automation development and improve engineering productivity.
• Leverage AI coding assistants such as ChatGPT, OpenAI Codex, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar technologies to:
  • Generate automation scripts
  • Develop reusable automation libraries
  • Perform code reviews
  • Improve code quality and consistency 
  • Generate test cases and test data
  • Automate documentation and reporting
• Identify and implement AI-powered solutions to automate repetitive QA activities and engineering workflows.
• Contribute to corporate AI initiatives related to task automation, intelligent testing, and engineering productivity improvements.

Requirements: 

• BS or MS in Electronics, Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with at least 8 years of relevant testing automation experience. 

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Python and robot framework.

• Working experience in API and Cloud automation/scripting.

• Experienced with developing or testing of Service Provider/Enterprise switch products / CPEs and cloud platform solutions.

• Experience using AI-powered engineering (ChatGPT, OpenAI Codex, Claude, GitHub Copilot…)

• Practical experience applying AIs

• Be highly flexible to adapt and work effectively in a dynamic environment.

• Being self-motivated, dedicated, focused, and able to meet demanding project schedules with minimal supervision.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

• Strong English Language skills, verbal and written.
