Together, these technologies give ISPs the ability to manage and troubleshoot their networks in real time, and to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

AXON Networks is a trusted strategic partner for its customers, helping them evaluate their current technologies and business models, and creating and executing strategies that enable them to innovate faster, accelerate their digital transformations, and strengthen their relationships with consumers.

AXON Networks is headquartered in Irvine, CA USA with Asia HQ in Singapore and also operating in Denmark, Spain and Vietnam.

We are seeking an AI Productivity Engineer to build internal AI tools and automations that make AXON faster and more efficient in day-to-day work. • AXON teams actively use the tools — weekly, not just after a launch demo
• Clear time savings in engineering, product, sales, and operations
• New tool ideas come from the business, not just from the AI team
• Internal AI use becomes structured, not random

As AXON's internal AI tooling matures, the scope of active build work will naturally evolve. When that point is reached, this role has a clear path into one of AXON's product-facing AI teams — bringing with it deep knowledge of internal systems, workflows, and the practical lessons learned from building the internal tooling layer.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage across engineering, product, sales, and operations to surface pain points, understand unmet needs, and identify where AI tooling can have real impact.
  • Build and maintain internal AI tools - Examples:
    ◦ Internal efficiency agents
    ◦ Documentation
    ◦ Internal chatbot
    ◦ Requirements generation
    ◦ Meeting summaries and follow-ups
    ◦ Code review support
    ◦ RFP / RFQ drafting
    ◦ Internal knowledge retrieval
  • Connect tools to real internal systems and workflows.
  • Turn ad hoc AI ideas into reusable, reliable tools.
  • Champion adoption — demonstrate, train, and promote new tools until they become part of how AXON works.
  • Measure usage, time saved, and adoption.

Requirements:

  • Strong Python engineering.
  • Experience building AI tools, chatbots, connectors, and workflow integrations.
  • API integration and workflow automation.
  • Ability to reach into an organisation, ask good questions, and turn answers into tools.
  • Ability to promote and drive adoption of new tools — comfortable presenting, training, and following up.
  • Ability to understand business processes, not just code.
  • Strong communication and self-direction.
  • Good product instinct for practical internal tools.

Ideal background:

  • AI application engineer or startup automation engineer;
  • Internal tools engineer with LLM experience;
  • Solutions engineer who became hands-on builder.

Benefits:

  • Competitive remuneration package
  • Health insurance
  • Pension Scheme
  • Flexi time, hybrid work
  • Friendly office environment (pool table, darts board and gaming corner)
  • Daily catered lunch, sodas, coffee, snacks, etc.
